TKT online now available at AACI

The Asociación Argentina de Cultura Inglesa (AACI), in partnership with the British Council, is offering TKT online once again in 2010. Since the possibility of completing this teaching award online was introduced, many teachers have contacted AACI to embark on this challenging project. Modules 1, 2 and 3 available now.

School trips to the Anne Frank Centre

The Anne Frank Centre in Argentina is an interactive and educational museum. Her testimony makes us question discrimination and reinforces the importance of human rights and tolerance despite diversity.

For more information look for the Centro Ana Frank Argentina on Facebook.

Innovation in ELT winners travel to the UK

Patricia Raimondi and Norma Cornaló from Curuzú Cuatiá won the 2010 Innovation in ELT Competition with an excellent project helping underprivileged 11-14 years olds learn English. They flew to the UK with British Airways, presented their project to Cambridge ESOL and attended the IATEFL Conference in Harrogate.

London 2012

It's getting closer... Follow progress online as building for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games continues. There are also lots of online and printable resources, ideas for teachers, and loads of Olympic and Paralympic facts.

Skills Circuits

Skills circuits are a fun way to review language. They also provide a change to coursebook activities allowing learners to work together to recycle grammar or vocabulary and share knowledge. Find out about skills circuits in this article.

Networks - A new area on Teaching English

"Networks", on the Teaching English site, is where you'll find resources and ideas for your teacher association, teachers' club, reading club, or any other professional development group. Watch out for new content over the coming months and add your ideas!

If you are a learner or teacher of English, LearnEnglish has something for you.

Search English - a news, information and networking tool for English language teaching professionals.

teaching English - produced by the BBC and the British Council as a resource for teachers.

ELTeCS - a professional network helping teachers work together across borders to share knowledge and improve practice in their regions.
