Innovation in English Language teaching competition

The British Council is running a competition to identify and reward innovation in ELT in public primary schools. The winner will fly to London and be invited to attend the IATEFL Conference in Harrogate from 7 to 11 April 2010. We would like to thank our sponsors British Airways, IATEFL and Cambridge ESOL who make this amazing opportunity possible.

Kids Talk

2

Want to hear real children from the UK using real English? Watch the videos on Kids Talk on the new LearnEnglishKids site, where children talk about food: school dinners, and the food they like and don't like. You'll find worksheets and transcripts to download, plus there are ideas for using the videos in the classroom on TeachingEnglish

Cubeecraft

Cubeecraft papercraft toys are free to download. Each toy has interlocking tabs for construction - no need for tape or glue. Click on the model you like then save the image. Print on to standard A4 and then cut and fold. Then why not get your class to design their own? Or use word balloons (see "Video") and make a film? Get designing!
