Lucky & Friends

Lucky and friends can be used after Lucky and you to reinforce and expand the language children already know at this level. It can also be used as a preparation course before the series Evolution.

Lucky’s friends, a group of kids and a funny robot, will introduce children to the new language and will make it memorable for them.

  • Different stories involving Lucky’s friends include the relevant structures in a natural way.

Our English World

Después de sus inolvidables conciertos de mayo pasado con la Orquesta Filarmónica de Costa Rica en San José, el músico y compositor César
Pueyrredón llevará a cabo un sueño postergado durante mucho tiempo: presentar una obra para Cuarteto de Cuerdas, compuesta por él, cuando
cursaba la Carrera de Composición en la Facultad de Artes y Ciencias Musicales de la UCA. Una obra con un lenguaje más contemporáneo,
disonante, experimental, lejos de su faceta más popular y melódica. La obra fue grabada por el Cuarteto Santa Cecilia, dirigido por Marcelo
Rebuffi, violinista muy conocido en el ambiente de la música clásica y de vanguardia, en el mes de Septiembre de 2010, en el Estudio Punto Ar.
El Estreno de la obra se hará en el Auditorio Victoria Ocampo del BAC (British Arts Centre) - que tiene el perfil justo para la presentación en
sociedad de esta obra . Además el Cuarteto interpretará “La muerte del ángel” y “Adiós Nonino” de Astor Piazzolla.

Sobre César Pueyrredón
Nació en Buenos Aires el 7 de Julio de 1952. Fue la voz líder del legendario grupo musical BANANA. Autor de inolvidables temas como “Conociéndote”,
“Toda una noche contigo”, “Cuando amas a alguien”, “Aún es tiempo de soñar”, entre otros.
César estudió piano y cursó la carrera de Composición en la Facultad de Artes y Ciencias Musicales de la UCA. A partir de 1984 ya como solista
publicó unos 11 álbumes con varios éxitos. En 1984 viajó a Estados Unidos para estudiar Producción Musical y Grabación de discos en The
Recording Workshop de Ohio. Sus trabajos han sido editados en Uruguay, Paraguay, Chile, Colombia y México, y muchas de sus canciones han
sido interpretadas por conocidos intérpretes nacionales e internacionales de habla hispana.
Dirigió los musicales “West Side Story” y “Cabaret” que presentó The Eaglet Company en Buenos Aires. César recibió dos veces el Premio
Prensario. Fue nominado en 1989 para el MARTÍN FIERRO como “Mejor show musical en TV”. Galardonado con el premio SANTA CLARA de ASÍS,
que entrega la Liga de Madres de Familia destacando su compromiso artístico en los medios de comunicación masiva. Recibió el GRAN PREMIO
SADAIC 1993 y participó como artista invitado en la presentación del cantante inglés STING en el Estadio Centenario de la ciudad de Montevideo,
Uruguay, en Octubre de 1990.
Compuso la banda musical del film “Mar de Amores” y algunos de sus temas conocidos forman parte de la banda sonora de films muy premiados
como “Historias mínimas” (de Carlos Sorín) y “El abrazo partido” (de Daniel Burman).
Actualmente dirige su propia productora artística - CBP PRODUCCIONES – con la cual ha promovido nuevos artistas y ha editado su último
álbum: “Romántico + nuevo” (2004).
Sobre Marcelo Rebuffi
Violinista y violista de intensa trayectoria internacional. Como miembro del cuarteto de cámara QUATROTANGO, ensamble integrado por cuatro
jóvenes solistas ha realizado presentaciones en las más importantes salas de los cinco continentes (tales como Opera House de Sydney, Teatro
Joyce de New York, BBC de Londres y Petronas Tower Philharmonic Hall de Malasia entre muchos otras) y trabajando para IMG artists entre otras
agencias con gran repercusión de audiencias y críticas especializadas (New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Sydney Morning Herald, BBC de
Londres, etc.).
En Argentina se ha presentado en calidad de solista con orquesta en varias de las más importantes salas del país, como por ejemplo el auditorio
de la Facultad de Derecho.
En 2005 fue galardonado con el premio Carlos Gardel, otorgado por el CD "La Vida y La Tempestad" grabado en vivo en Japón junto al Quinteto
Carla Pugliese en 2004, gracias a lo cual a finales del año 2008 el mismo sello Fonocal, editó su último CD "Grandes Compositores Argentinos"
volumen 1.
Entre sus futuros compromisos se hallan numerosas presentaciones como solista en los conciertos para violín de Brahms, Beethoven, Ginastera,
Schumann y Elgar con varias de las más prestigiosas orquestas de Argentina y Sudamérica, así como recitales de violín y viola solos y otros junto
Lorena Eckell, pianista de gran trayectoria internacional.
Comenzó sus estudios de violín a los seis años bajo la guía del renombrado Ljerko Spiller . Egresado como Profesor Superior de Violín del
Conservatorio Juan José Castro de Buenos Aires. Ha participado en clases magistrales dictadas por el gran violinista Alberto Lysy.
